Thanks... and My Photography

Wow, I can taste summer! As I said in my last entry, it can't come soon enough. I want to thank everyone who has been so supportive the last few months. Starting my own business has been very exciting. It was a long time coming. I knew I would get a good response from my designs, but what was such a surprise to me, was the comments I have been receiving about my photography.

Photography is just a visual sketchbook for me of line and texture of shape and color. I enjoy recording anything and everything that sparks something in me. The photos were really only for me to look at and get inspired to create. Now that I have shared my pictures with family and friends through my website, I realize they speak to others as well. I couldn't be more thrilled! I'll keep adding pictures to my albums from now on as I take them and share them with all of you.

How can I be tired after 11 hours of sleep! I Need Summer!!!

I've been so busy lately that I am tired all the time. It's all good though... busy is good, but I can't wait for school to end and summer to start. There is nothing like flip flops and the smell of suntan lotion everyday. A time to catch up on reading and being with my kids with no school pressures. Easy clean-up after dinners because you just throw stuff on the grill and hanging with friends and a glass of wine under the gazebo.... I Love Summer-it can't come soon enough!!!

I think I'm on Tech Overload!

Well, I've taken the plunge! I've spent the last couple of weeks creating my very first website ever and I'm so excited about it. But who knew that you have to do all sorts of things to get people to find you in search engines etc. If I type in my "Ilene Price Design" in Google... nothing came up. I had to send the link to everyone I know so they could bookmark it. I've got a lot more work to do!

So I created a facebook page, a twitter account and now I'm writing a blog with a google profile all in hopes to get more traffic to my site! I'll probably set up a flicker account as well.

The best thing I've done is take an e-course by "Kelly Rae Roberts" It's curently going on. I love her! She has always inspired me not just with her art, but with all her honesty on her blog. I've learned a lot from her already and hope to learn much more! I'll post her blog and website on mine when I figure out how!

Anyway... got to go now... I have things I have to do and I've been spending all day on this! Please visit my website!
